idk….. Kuroshitsuji confuses the hell out of me. I thought for a long time that Ciel Phantomhive was a girl (it doesn’t help that in one of my fandoms, there’s a girl with short blue hair named Ciel), and then I didn’t get why people said they thought it was yaoi. And then I found out he was a boy and it was originally written as a yaoi series but isn’t. The overabundance of this kind of thing just messed with me until I gave in and Googled it. People really just like making him a girl or something.
